Brewer sucks so bad they were making fun of the Fins here in Nashville for taking him and trying to make him our starter. Dude is small and can’t block anyway.

Tarkenton, young fella.
I remember reading about frank in my history books. He played around the time of Terry Zonka and Bob Greesy

I’m not really understanding all of this Brewer hatred. Wasn’t he one of the better run-blocking centers last season? And yes, his pass blocking was apparently below-par, but we should recall he was blocking for some less-than-stellar QBs with questionable pocket awareness. Also, I don’t recall major snap issues from him last season.
Bottom line, I believe McD wanted the guy for his athleticism and his ability to get to the next level as a run blocker.
Shouldn’t we at least watch him play a bit before we claim he’s a weak link?

Unless you formed your opinion by watching his individual reps last year then yes we should imo

And I can confirm that I have not spent time watching his individual reps from last year, outside of our game against the Titans.

Me neither :)
My hope is that his skill set allows to do things that haven’t been done before

Fat Bastard Tua didn't get injured last year. If he goes down, you might as well play QB, 'cause Whitey and Sky City ain't gonna get'er done!
Fat bastard Tua didn't get hurt last year but he also didn't get the job done last year. Nothing wrong with wanting players on a professional football team to be fit and as mobile as possible. Just common sense. Unless a QB running is seeking contact or taking foolish hits they are more exposed to injury in a collapsing pocket than scampering for an open 5-7 yards and sliding from time to time.

And in that game he handled the great and expensive Christian Wilkins just fine. A healthy Brewer I think is the least of our problems. A hurt Brewer, well that's another story..

Yea I don't know anything about Brewer, but let's give him a chance before we act like he sucks at football. The Titans also let David Long Jr. walk which was stupid on their part, but they're a stupid organization, ask A.J Brown. Brewer's speed at center could be incredible for this offense and really help in the run game.

Tua? Really?! He's never been mobile. Plus, Tua running opens him up for further injury. Once he's out of the pocket he's no longer protected by the Refs like he would be while in the pocket. If that is your solution for compensating for a crappy OL, I think you are misguided.
Tua...REALLY.

I always find it weird when ppl saying Tua wasn't mobile. When early in his career he could juke ppl out of their boots. Yes he's not exactly fast, but there's more to scrambling than straight line speed, sometimes quickness and agility is as or more useful than straight line speed. Tua got some shake and bake in his moves to juke guys out
