The successful candidate will possess the skills, knowledge and abilities to:•Administer basic first aid and CPR •Dispense medications and screen ill or injured students in accordance with state laws and established district regulations and procedures •Administer prescribed medication/injections or other approved treatments and procedures to students with physician’s instructions•Maintain the health office in a clean, orderly and safe condition; maintains health office supplies and related materials•Effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff•Maintain and update a variety of health related records and files•Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
